If you want to succeed in anything you do in life, then you MUST always start with a plan. It doesn’t matter what you want to accomplish in life. Whether you want to succeed in your business, or want to get in great shape. Step number one is always be creating your plan. You must know where you are going so you can get there. You need to have a plan that’s going to get you closer and closer to your dreams every single day. Your plan doesn’t have to be perfect because I guarantee you that you will have to adjust along the way.
If you want to get in shape, maybe your initial plan was to run 3 times a week for 20 minutes. As you got stronger and build more stamina, your plan has to change. Maybe now your new plan is to run 3 times, but for 30 minutes this time. Then soon you will be running for 40 minutes each time, which is double the time of your original plan. The more you exercise, the stronger you will get and this is why the plan keeps changing. Remember that the perfect plan does not exist, so just start and do it!
Your plan needs to be simple and something realistic. If you never exercised before, then don’t start with a plan that will cause you to fail. Start with a plan that will give you success so you can start gaining confidence and momentum. Always examine your plan and make any changes accordingly. Everything that you do in life is always created in your mind first. Don’t let your plan just stay in your mind, write it down in paper and start working towards achieving your goals.
